Bulls hammer Griffons to stay unbeaten

The Bulls showcased their superiority with a commanding 52-10 win over the Griffons in a Sunday Currie Cup Round Two match held in Welkom.

Playing in challenging weather conditions characterized by a dry pitch and biting wind, the Bulls didn't face much resistance as they crossed the try line eight times.

This victory propelled them into third place in the standings, joining the ranks of only three unbeaten teams in the competition.

Benefitting from a strong breeze at their backs in the first half, the Bulls swiftly built a formidable 31-5 lead by halftime, scoring points almost at will.

Despite sporadic moments of promise from the home team, the Griffons struggled to maintain possession long enough to mount a sustained challenge against the visiting Bulls.

The Bulls' clinical performance underscored their depth and skill across the field, solidifying their position as serious contenders in this year's Currie Cup tournament.

The scorers:

Griffons

Tries: Kota, Gray

Bulls

Tries: Dyantyi, Gumede 2, Williams, Van der Linde, Smit, Manjezi, Hendricks
