The ANC's policy conference is set to kick-off this weekend at Nasrec in Johannesburg, where party delegates will reflect on the policy direction of the party. The conference gives the governing party an opportunity to reflect on the implementation success of their current policies.
The conference will also provide a platform to make proposals for the amendment of existing policy and the introduction of new policy for the ANC-led government to implement. Economic policy will come into sharp focus as the party mulls over the basic income grant, the health of state owned enterprises and the energy crises.
