Get started

1. Draw a pencil line as a guideand use the jigsaw to round offone corner of both 250 x130mm supports. Also draw asemi-circular pencil line on the600 x 300mm flap and cutalong the line.

2. Using the 40mm screws,attach the 600 x 150mm fixedtop piece at a right angle tothe 600 x 130mm back.Tip: Use one of the 250 x130mm pieces as a support.

3. Turn the structure upside-down withthe fixed top piece facing downwards andplace the semi-circular flap against it; jointhe two pieces with two 75mm hinges(use the 16mm screws and position thehinges about 10mm in from each side).

4. Position the two 250 x 130mm supports at right anglesto the back, flush with the inner edge of the two hinges, and mark where the second pair of hinges will be attachedto the back and supports. First screw the hinges to thesupports and then to the back.

5. Drill pilot holes through the back ready to fix the table tothe wall: one on the outside of each support and one inthe middle slightly higher than those on the sides. Fill allthe screw holes with wood filler and sand thoroughly oncecompletely dry. Use a spirit level to position the table thenscrew it to the wall.
