Attach the square satin legs to the base of all the floor units. At the island and the unit with drawers, place two legs over the seam of the two units to make the join stronger. Screw the side panels to all the exposed sides.

Attach the hinges to the doors first, then to the insides of the cupboards.

Clamp an off-cut piece of timber to the base of the cupboard to make sure the lower drawer front is flush with the base of the cupboard and attach it with screws. Then use the handle screws as spacers for the next drawer fronts up, before screwing them in place.

Drill holes for the handle screws and attach with screws from the inside.

Tip We made a template with off-cut timber to make it easier to attach all the handles in the same position.

These are all freestanding units, so simply arrange them in position. Put the tops in place and screw from the inside of the cupboard.

Attach mounting plates to the top corners of the wall unit. Position the wall unit; use a spirit level to make sure it is straight and then screw it in place with 6 x 75mm plugs and screws. Cover all screws with self-adhesive screw caps.
